Tasting Room Associate (part-time, seasonal)

We are looking for 2 part-time tasting room associates to join our team for the upcoming 2022 season. Because we are a small operation, the right candidate will be eager to occasionally contribute to other aspects of the winery including cellar and vineyard assistance. This role is best suited to a passionate, customer-service driven individual who is willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, weekdays and some evenings.

The right candidate will be:

• A wine enthusiast (WSET or ISG certification an asset, but not required)
• Customer-service driven and eager to deliver personalized hospitality
• Motivated to contribute to a positive team environment
• Professional, organized and punctual
• Able to manage a fast-paced environment
• 19+ years of age
• Serving It Right certified
• Able to lift 40 lbs
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Class 5 or 7 Driver's licence*

Duties will include:

• Guide a curated tasting room experience to deliver personalized customer service and share the philosophy of our winemaking and farming practices
• Be a gracious host who is familiar with the Vancouver Island wine region, including local offerings and attractions
• Set-up, take down, and sales at local Farmer's market
• Assist with product packaging
• Maintain cleanliness of the tasting room, retail shop, patio and all public areas
• Assist with cellar and vineyard tasks as needed
• Assist with processing and shipment of orders

*due to the location of the winery, applicants must have their own method of transportation
